  This short entry is a continuation of this one. I was listening to a very nice talk by Anton Galaev on his article arXiv:2502.07543. In it, he explained various ways to see curvature on sub-Riemannian manifolds $(M,D,g)$, and that sometimes it is useful to consider extended connections (operations $\Gamma(TM)\times \Gamma(D)\to \Gamma(D)$ rather than $\Gamma(D)\times \Gamma(D)\to \Gamma(D)$).

  I was recently reading the very nice preprint arXiv:2608.07351, on how to construct a Lie algebroid over $\mathbb R^n$ whose underlying foliation is given by the vector fields vanishing up to a prescribed order $k$ and tried to translate the notion of left-symmetric algebroid used therein, in terms of connections.
